CS Luna Sports Club offers triathlon classes.
Triathlon is a sport composed of three successive parts: swimming, cycling and running. The first triathlon race took place in 1974 in San Diego. In 1978 the first triathlon competition, Ironman Triathlon was organized, in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. Later it was moved to Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Triathlon’s Olympic debut took place in 2000 at Sydney.
Triathlon workouts are very beneficial, each sport having its well-defined role. By running you tone the legs and abdominal muscles, burn calories and it is recommended for strengthening the circulatory system. Swimming helps develop the upper parts of the body: chest, shoulders and back and it serves to increase lung capacity. Cycling is indicated for the legs, defines them as much as running.
